CHARLES H WOODWORTH

Managing General Partner

Charles “Chuck” Woodworth has spent his entire 45 year career in the financial services sector as a Builder of successful business enterprises across a broad spectrum of the industry. Beginning in 1972, Chuck built successful businesses for major firms including a Life TPA (The Fulenwider Organization, Denver, CO), two national scale branch offices (Smith Barney, Harris Upham, New York) a general securities subsidiary (Lincoln Trust Securities, Lincoln Trust Co., Denver, CO), CEO of Trust Company of America, Boulder, CO, and two top producing specialty sales teams (Kidder Peabody & Co.—Insurance Industry Specialty: marketing and creation of structured products, and Montgomery Securities, (acquired by Bank of America), San Francisco and New York (Pre and Post IPO Strategies), and finally as a founder/ investor in two private equity / merchant banking boutiques, SCG Madison Company, LLC. and WhitePaper Capital Partners, LLC.

WPCP is currently engaged in a merchant banking capacity with several environmental remediation and waste-to-energy firms in their buildout strategies and is also actively involved in providing fund raising and marketing campaign structuring advice to 501c organizations on a national scale. In that capacity, Chuck also recently served as interim Executive Chairman of a London-based structured finance firm listed on the London Stock Exchange.

Chuck is a 1968 graduate of Dartmouth College where he played varsity football ( Lambert Trophy 1965) and Rugby, and attended The National Law Center at George Washington University and The University of Colorado Business School. During the Vietnam era, Chuck saw active duty during two tours aboard USS Forrestal (CVA 59) as a Naval Aviation Intelligence Officer and later on, four additional years in the Reserves as a photo intelligence officer/analyst.. He has also served as a Trustee of the US Naval Institute Foundation, Annapolis MD.

In recent years, Chuck also served as a Trustee and financial advisor to Channel 13 (PBS) in New York.

Currently, besides serving as Managing General Partner and Director of WhitePaper, Chuck is a member of the Board of Directors of several smallcap private Companies in the financial services, artificial intelligence, aquaponics, and cryptocurrency exchange businesses.

GABRIEL DEL VIRGINIA ESQ.

Managing General Partner

Gabriel del Virginia is an experienced bankruptcy, insolvency, corporate restructuring, real estate, and litigation attorney with a practice spanning Chapter 11 reorganizations, Chapter 7 matters, debtor-creditor issues, workouts, asset sales, and bankruptcy-related litigation.

Since 1994, Mr. del Virginia has operated his own bankruptcy and insolvency practice in New York, representing clients in corporate, real estate, transactional, and litigation matters. His practice includes representing Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 trustees, serving as special counsel in major Chapter 11 cases, prosecuting avoidance actions, and representing purchasers of assets in bankruptcy proceedings.

Prior to establishing his own practice, Mr. del Virginia worked in the bankruptcy and workout departments of several prominent law firms, including Edwards & Angell, Bachner Tally Polevoy & Misher, Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy, and Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti. His experience includes representing debtors, creditors, trustees, investment banks, lending institutions, real estate developers, and corporate clients in significant restructurings, workouts, and Chapter 11 proceedings.

Earlier in his career, he served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Vincent J. Commisa, Chief Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey, where he gained extensive exposure to major Chapter 11 corporate reorganizations. He also taught bankruptcy and corporate law courses in Brooklyn College’s Paralegal Certificate Program.

Mr. del Virginia earned his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law and his B.A. from Rutgers University. He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, including the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey. His professional memberships include the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, New York County Lawyers’ Association, American Bankruptcy Institute, American Bar Association, and New Jersey Bar Association.

STEVEN J SCHWAGER

Special Limited Partner

Steven J. Schwager is a statistician and data science professional with broad experience across corporate, consulting, and academic sectors. His primary expertise includes statistics, data science, predictive modeling, research methodology, sampling design, technology assessment, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

He currently serves as a Special Limited Partner at White Paper Capital Partners in New York. Previously, he was Research Principal, Data Science at Medidata Solutions, where he helped develop, document, and market analytical products designed to improve clinical trial accuracy, efficiency, and risk management. Prior to Medidata, he served as Senior Statistician at AIG Property Casualty, developing analytics for underwriting, risk management, and claims.

Mr. Schwager is Professor Emeritus of Statistics and Biological Statistics at Cornell University, where he served on the faculty from 1978 to 2011. He earned his PhD, MPhil, and MA in Statistics from Yale University, an MA in Mathematics from Columbia University, and an AB in Mathematics from Dartmouth College.

His consulting experience spans agriculture, biology, business, engineering, environmental science, genetics, legal matters, consumer economics, nutrition, psychology, and veterinary medicine. Selected projects include statistical analysis for environmental testing, employment discrimination litigation, organic contaminant studies in salmon, gaming performance analytics, Hudson River power plant impact studies, and national environmental monitoring programs.

He is a member of the American Statistical Association and received the ASA Mentoring Award in 2019. Publications are available upon request.

OLIVER HAWKINS ESQ.

Limited Partner

Mr. Hawkins is an Attorney at Law and Business Development Consultant serving clients in various industries with an emphasis on the development of early stage companies. Prior to launching his law firm and business development consulting practices in February 2001, Mr. Hawkins worked as a Financial Consultant in the Private Client Group of Merrill Lynch & Co. in New York City. Mr. Hawkins also previously worked in New York City as an Associate at the law firms of Ross & Hardies, LLP and Satterlee Stephens Burke & Burke, LLP after graduating from New York University School of Law, serving clients in the areas of debtors' and creditors' rights, corporate law, commercial litigation and entertainment law. Mr. Hawkins also previously held a license as a Certified Public Accountant in New York State, which he acquired in 1993. Prior to relocating to New York City in 1992, Mr. Hawkins worked two years at American General Corporation in Houston, Texas as a Management Consultant providing advice and assistance to senior management on various business process improvement initiatives and projects. Prior to joining American General Corporation in 1990, he worked four years in Houston, Texas as an Auditor and Information Systems Consultant with Arthur Andersen & Co. In 1986, Mr. Hawkins received his undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Jackson State

University in Jackson, MS, with a major in Accounting and a minor in Computer Science.

BRIAN J LEAMAN

Limited Partner

An entrepreneur and strategic finance professional with experience building, operating, and selling businesses across multiple vertices including durable medical equipment, healthcare staffing, debt services, digital marketing, merchant services, and cryptocurrency advisory.

He is associated with White Paper Capital Partners, LLC, where he supports business development, client origination, transaction sourcing, and strategic advisory initiatives. His work includes identifying and advancing opportunities involving project finance, business restructuring, capital restructuring, alternative capital solutions, and corporate growth strategies.

Brian has worked closely with business owners, investors, lenders, and advisory partners to develop practical financial and operational solutions. His background includes merchant cash advance restructuring, debt advisory services, revenue generation, private transaction advisory, and business development across multiple sectors.

Brian earned his degree from the University of Vermont’s Grossman School of Business.

Brian is also a dedicated volunteer at St John’s Church, Newark, NJ feeding the homeless.
